The view is framed on both sides by gentle sloping mountains. The house has a “prow” of solid windows, 25 feet tall and 20 feet wide, offering a panoramic view of the Valley. Completely surrounding the house is a 4,000 square foot deck, perfect for relaxing, entertaining and dining. The fall colors are breathtaking, as the house is surrounded by trees, but in no way obstructing the lovely view. The House—the house is a two-story, 3,200 square feet home, and is constructed with real logs. It has four bedrooms and three and a half baths. Adjoining the Great Room is a library/recreation room, with the dining area also adjoining the Great Room. The house has an open, spacious feeling. A roomy three-car garage is next to the house and the driveway is freshly graded and resurfaced. The Location—the house is located just outside Mars Hill, approximately 15 minutes to Asheville, just north of the city. Wolf Ridge Ski Resort is 10 minutes away and the Blue Ridge Parkway is 15 minutes. Mars Hill is a beautiful mountain college town with a quaint downtown area, a brand new, state-of-the-art grocery store, and very warm and welcoming residents.
